Egg Freezing

Preserve your fertility and keep your options open for future family planning

Why Consider Egg Freezing?

Preserve Fertility

Women’s fertility naturally declines with age. Egg freezing allows you to preserve younger, healthier eggs for future use.

Career Flexibility

Focus on your career and personal goals now while keeping your family-building options open for the future.

Medical Reasons

Preserve fertility before undergoing treatments like chemotherapy that may affect reproductive function.

The Egg Freezing Process

1

Initial Consultation & Testing

Your journey begins with a comprehensive consultation to discuss your goals and medical history. We’ll perform baseline fertility testing, including blood tests and ultrasound to assess your ovarian reserve and determine the optimal stimulation protocol.

2

Ovarian Stimulation

You’ll receive hormone injections for about 10-12 days to stimulate your ovaries to produce multiple eggs. During this time, we’ll monitor your progress with regular blood tests and ultrasounds to adjust medications as needed and determine the optimal time for egg retrieval.

3

Egg Retrieval

When your eggs reach the optimal size, you’ll undergo a minor surgical procedure under light sedation. Using ultrasound guidance, our specialists will retrieve the eggs through a transvaginal procedure. The process takes about 15-20 minutes, and most patients return home the same day.

4

Freezing (Vitrification)

Immediately after retrieval, our laboratory team evaluates the mature eggs and freezes them using vitrification, an advanced flash-freezing technique that prevents ice crystal formation and significantly improves egg survival rates after thawing compared to older slow-freezing methods.

5

Storage & Future Use

Your eggs will be stored in our state-of-the-art cryopreservation facility until you’re ready to use them. When you decide to use your frozen eggs, they’ll be thawed and fertilized with sperm using ICSI, and the resulting embryos will be transferred to your uterus.
