Egg Freezing
Preserve your fertility today and keep your options open for future family planning.
Why Consider Egg Freezing?
Preserve Fertility
Preserving fertility means giving yourself the flexibility to build a family when the time is right. With egg freezing, your healthy eggs are stored safely for future use, ensuring age doesn’t limit your chances of pregnancy.
Career Flexibility
Career goals shouldn’t limit your plans for motherhood. Egg freezing allows you to focus on building your future today while safely preserving your fertility for when you’re ready to start a family.
Medical Reasons
Certain medical conditions or treatments, such as chemotherapy, endometriosis, or ovarian surgery, can affect fertility. Egg freezing helps protect healthy eggs in advance, giving you the best chance for pregnancy later.
The Egg Freezing Process
1
Initial Consultation & Testing
The egg freezing process begins with an initial fertility consultation and baseline testing.
During this stage, the doctor reviews your medical history and evaluates hormone levels and ovarian reserve through blood tests and ultrasound scans.
This assessment helps create a personalized stimulation protocol — ensuring the safest approach and the best chance of collecting a good number of healthy eggs.
2
Ovarian Stimulation
In this phase, hormone injections are given to stimulate the ovaries to produce multiple mature eggs instead of the single egg released naturally each month.
You’ll be monitored closely through ultrasound scans and hormonal blood tests to track follicle growth and adjust medication if needed.
This careful monitoring ensures optimal egg maturity while maintaining safety and comfort throughout the cycle.
3
Egg Retrieval
Once the follicles reach the ideal size, a minor 25–30 minute procedure is performed to retrieve the mature eggs from the ovaries.
It is done under light sedation or anesthesia, ensuring you feel no pain or discomfort during the process.
The retrieved eggs are then immediately handed over to the embryology lab for evaluation and freezing preparation to maintain their best quality.
4
Freezing (Vitrification)
After retrieval, each mature egg is cooled instantly using advanced vitrification technology, which prevents ice-crystal formation and protects egg quality.
This rapid-freezing method increases the likelihood of success in future pregnancies by preserving the egg’s structure and DNA integrity.
The vitrified eggs remain safely stored in a controlled cryogenic environment until you are ready for fertilization and embryo transfer.
5
Storage & Future Use
The frozen eggs are securely stored in a cryogenic tank at –196°C, maintaining their quality for many years without aging.
Whenever you are ready to conceive, the eggs are safely thawed, fertilized with partner or donor sperm, and developed into embryos.
This process gives you the flexibility to plan pregnancy at the right time while protecting your fertility potential.
