PCOS Fertility Treatment Options
1
Ovulation Induction
Medications like Clomiphene Citrate or Letrozole are used to stimulate regular ovulation. We carefully monitor your cycle with ultrasounds and blood tests to determine the optimal timing for conception.
2
Intrauterine Insemination (IUI)
Combined with ovulation induction, IUI increases the chances of pregnancy by placing prepared sperm directly into the uterus during your fertile window. This treatment is often effective for women with PCOS who have open fallopian tubes.
3
In Vitro Fertilization (IVF)
For women with PCOS who don’t conceive with ovulation induction or IUI, IVF offers high success rates. We use specialized protocols to prevent ovarian hyperstimulation syndrome, which women with PCOS are more susceptible to.
4
Laparoscopic Ovarian Drilling
In select cases, this minimally invasive surgical procedure may be recommended to trigger ovulation in women with PCOS who haven’t responded to medication. The procedure creates tiny holes in the ovary’s surface to reduce androgen production.
